AMD will beat Nvidia to DX11 by months

Yeh but what about XP users does that mean we're gonna be shafted into the dark... because from the looks of things they are just focusing on Vista and Win7 which mean that these GPU's wont be compatible for XP... :confused:

Win 7>XP>Vista ;)
 
xp is the teen, 7 is the newborn with impressive genes and Vista is more like the Inbred hillbilly son

Well i remember they said that there was not gonna be anymore updates for XP DX versions and they finished the topic then and there... so it would be interesting to see if DX10 and 11 are gonna end up on XP in the end anyway :rolleyes:
 
Im not sure about that...I think everyone should move to Win7 when it launches..lol!!
As far as Dx11 Graphics cards are concerned, well we all know the story..it'll take forever for Dx11 games to launch, as far as im concerned Dx10 is only now really coming into play.

Ja but jokerboi what about compatibility and all that for those who still play their games on XP like myself.... alot of my games are not compatible with Vista let alone for Win7 its gonna be tough tryin to get them to run.... :o
 
Win7 won't have the same issues as Vista.
They should just upgrade to Win7 and wait for Dx11 to launch..its simple mate.

I dont think its a good idea to upgrade until they are certain that Win7 will be compatible enough to run the games we currently play.... I mean as far as we know the beta version has been great but what about the major release... what if it becomes a Windows ME 3 then we're screwed :rolleyes: :p
