I also stopped after playing the demo. I enjoyed The Suffering (for those who played it). That game also had a tense atmosphere. The game, Condemned also comes to mind; but I think Amnesia : DD beats them in that department.

I started playing this game...but I actually gave up after like the first stage because I got stuck and didnt know where to go :/

Same with me! Are you in the place where (after you follow the oil trail) you come to a room with a whole in it's ceiling? If you try and go back to the previous stage you can't because the door is locked? That area?
