Amnesia: The Dark Descent

If your interested in horror games, get it, end of story. This game is incredibly creepy/twisted and instills a sense of dread and fear in you unlike anything. I actually can't recall any horror game being quite this scary.

I normally have a high tolerance for "horror" games, but damn, I played for two hours and I have to take a break for something more fluffy. Can anyone recommend a game with rabbits and rainbows so I can give my nerves a rest?

I think it is some new way of saying something is good, e.g. I rate Expendables (the good movie) or you rate CoD:MW2 (the dumb game). :p

It is dumb, I know.

/On topic. Looks interesting, but I don't think it's something I'll enjoy.

Yip. Expendables was top notch. I'll tell ya, the awards season is gonna be dominated by this movie. And the acting talent, oh my, awe-inspiring. Dolph showed again why acting classes can pay off - he is definitely the star attraction; his eyebrow-raising skill alone makes this movie worth seeing. Definite blu-ray purchase; a keeper.

I could not agree with you more, even if I tried. Only problem I see there is that you don't have a blu-ray player. Does that mean you're buying it for ME?

Wait a minute, do I sense sarcasm?

We are derailing this poor thread, good sir. I beg of you to please refrain from replying for it will just be ignored by the me person. :p

I've got all 3 Penumbra games, by Frictional Games as well. SO Naturally this is a good day for me, I played the demo of this a bit, and its defnitely as awesome as I would have hoped.

More people should actually have experienced Penumbra, it's really one of the unknown gems of our time

I'm actually tempted to grab the Penumbra games after playing this. I see they were just put up on Steam as well.

Dude you can't go wrong. I'm actually planning on replaying them before I play through the full version of Dark Descent.

You will really be impressed with them I can almost guarantee it!

You should play penumbra, specially the second one, Black Plague. You play the entire game without a weapon of any kind, and trust me it's quite freaken tense..........

Do they ever like physically attack you? I won't be able to handle that lol! There's nothing worse than something nipping at your back while you're trying to run away from a hopeless situation. Like in Half Life 1, I couldn't jump in the water at some of the parts because of those sharks!
