An Afternoon With Halo Reach

I think you had issues with the driving controls because they're totally different to any other game. You don't accelerate on the trigger, for example, but simply move forward by pushing the left stick, and you steer on the right. Once you're used to it, driving in Halo is a snap.
 
Thanks Azi - I'm thinking that youve already played Reach and know that this works and I did think of that but when I rotated the right stick it just seemed to rotate the camera - LoL I will try again later
 
Azi - Ive just retried the driving in the game and yes you are 100% correct the right stick does control the steering and works like a charm - LoL gently does it.

Heh, yes, I've played it already. But the controls are the same in Halo 3 and ODST. ;)

Or any Halo for that matter. Remember the first time driving it in Halo Combat Evolved on the original Xbox and was like "HOLY SHIT This is awesome."

@Moody: I Hate you. I have to wait till to night to get my mits on my Legendary Edition.

Just letting my Halo noobness shine through;) - but I might have to rethink my opinion of FPS on consoles - Halo Reach is just getting better the more I play it although I am struggling with the controller mainly as my left hand keeps falling asleep after a couple of hours playing.

Hate!! OF - thats a strong word:) - But dont worry I know you going to love Reach

You know that was just heat of the moment stuff Moods. Glad your enjoying it. Try out Halo 3 and ODST also.
 
you know if some people would just pay, i could be ordering the legendary edition instead :(
