The ANC will never be defeated by another political party, Gauteng chairman Paul Mashatile said on Saturday.

"The ANC won't be threatened by parties born yesterday," Mashatile told supporters at an ANC Youth League election festival in Tembisa, east of Johannesburg.

"The ANC is here to stay... it's been here for 100 years and will continue to be here."

It is.

I can almost imagine that they liken themselves to the early church.

Mandela would be the equivalent of Jesus; thus making the original leaders of the ANC the 12 Disciples. Mbeki would be Paul; and Zuma would be representative of the beginning of corruption in the church.
