Im looking to get into watching anime,
The only anime ive seen is Full Metal Alchemist , Cowboy bebob and Witch Hunter Robin.

Anyone here care to recommend some really epic police / spy / fighting anime ?

Ive been thinking of watching Naturo but I would probably need to dedicate 10 years of my life just to catch up ? Theres like 300+ episodes of that already ?

Anyone have some nice anime to recommend ?

No hentai please.
 
Fillers make me want to hurt myself. Other than that, yeah it's good. It's actual manga at the moment but not sure how long that's going to last any more.

If you've watched and enjoyed Cowboy Bebop - then a few others I might recommend (none of them too long) would be the following - bearing in mind that I consider C.B to be one of the classics - hard to measure up to. But anyways

Black Lagoon (2 seasons - 12 Eps each)
Trigun
Black Cat
Last Exile
Samurai Champloo

There's also DNAngel that may be worth watching, although, unlike the 5 I mentioned now, it's targeted at a younger audience (mid-Teens) - but like Black Cat I found it a great deal of fun to watch.
 
Trigun is really awesome! Watch the movie after you finished the series. I think it's about 13 episodes. Really a great watch. There's also Golden Boy, that's stupid yet extremely funny at the same time. Ghost in the shell isn't too bad either...
And then if you want something more western you can always look up Afro samurai... which isn't bad at all.

i think eden of the east is also a good anime thats short
also enjoyed black cat alot
pandora hearts is a fun anime as well
dont forget some soul eater :)
 
There is a old anime i know of that has about the same graphics as cowboy bebob called blue gender.giant bugs like creature's and mechs.
 
If you want to laugh you ass off watch Detroit Metal City. Sooooo epic!
also +1 for Trigun and Hajime No Ippo. So good, those two.

*Edit* Also, for spy/police type, you're not gonna get much better than Deathnote.

Yeah I watched the entire series when it was still on the Scifi channel here in SA. That and Legend of the overfiend :D

DMC was great, so was Deathnote.

I watched it about a month ago on animefreak.wish we still had an anime channel in SA

The dubbed crap they showed on 126? That was so bad.
