Any Far Cry 3 Fans?

Come Thursday? It's only releasing on the 4th of December. That's still two weeks ago.

Also, it's rather hard to be a fan of an unreleased game.

Next Thursday? 4th of December? The local release date for Far Cry 3 is Friday the 30th November. I think the general EU date is 29 November and US is 4 December, but here in good old SA we get the game on Friday.

Game is getting really good reviews and I'm rather interested in getting it, just have to see if the finances will allow it this month.
 
Yeah, and there's an ad at the top of this page(for me) that says release date is 30 November.
I've pre-ordered the game already.

This game will unlock in approximately 4 days and 3 hours

Reason for me asking is I'm quite keen to know what you guys might think of the P2P they're slapping on the PC version?

Far Cry 2's multiplayer was somewhat of a mess, getting to play with other players at least. The multiplayer itself is fun, not for competitions, but fun nonetheless.

The Black Friday sales are killing me, so I will only get the game in December.
 
Hmm, I honestly thought the release date was the 4th of December. Well, this is pretty good news.

Crap. That's not good news. Wonder if my system will run the game. I don't know what the requirements are but I have a 3.2 GHz dual core, 4GB Corsair Dominator RAM and a GTX550ti. Do you guys think I can play this? Every other new game works fine so far. Playing Hitman Absolution on high (without MSAA, but with Tesselation) and I get about 35 - 45 FPS on average.
 
Well the benchmarks done were in dx11, if performance is unplayable in dx11 you can just play the game in dx9 which 550ti card should handle easily. It's nice to have a quad core cpu though for open world games like this.

Ok cool, then I'll probably buy it, don't care about DX11 that much. Yeah I wish I had a quad core cpu, but I can't find any socket 775 quad cores that I can buy for cheap.
 
Got mine on pre-order also, so I'm quite looking forward to Friday. I have nill interest in the MP, I just want to get my hands on that SP campaign.
 
I played the 1st and skipped the 2nd, this one however and the vids that have been posted make me want to give it a try again.
 
I'm going to enjoy the shyte out of hunting animals on this game with grenades... Trying to do the same on Assassins Creed III
