Oh my sack - you have an official albion re-creation of the Atlantean sword? Dude - that thing is amazing and considered to be THE MOST accurate and authentic re-creation of the sword used in the movie.

It is awesome. I grew up with conan and the cartoons and comics. I have seen the movie about 40 times:D. The sword is heavy and feels right.

Well we'll see what my replica is like next month when I get it. R1000 compared to a R25000 version lol - I just want to be able to look at the thing and appreciate it. Your Albion is an actual sword - which by the way - I hope you take care of that thing because one day, whoever inherits that thing is going to have a very valuable object on his/her hands.

Yes I do actually.:) Love it to bits. It was a hassle to get it through customs. Don't know how my friend did it but he is a dodgy person lol.

YES! Have a model of Lucy Lu's sword from Kill Bill... Would collect way more if I could but my money ends up going towards clothes or games... tough choices...
 
I only have some decorative sword, though I did want to get a real scottish 7.5 foot claymore when I was in the highlands, but my wife said no. So I was like okay how about a 5 foot Jacobite Broadsword (also called a Scottish Basket Hilt) and that was shot down. The thing is these were real swords not decorative at all and their prices weren't bad, the Broadsword was about R2500 + R1000 for shipping to SA and the Claymore was R6700 or so + R1250 for shipping.
But there was this beaut though it was a 10 foot claymore, I loved this armourer though as they let me pick up all the swords feel their weighting and get a good feel for the blades. I fell in love with that 10 footer but the wife by then was outside smoking and I don't mean cigarettes :-(
 
My bro collects a variety of knives and daggers.

Ever since I caught the guy stealing our car, I now have this telescopic baton in my driver door arch:
