Any opinions on the KFA geforce cards?

They are awesome cards, but for the same money you can get a 7870 which eats the GTX570 up no problem.

Thanks, just starting to look around as it's GPU upgrade time. I'm green fanboi, I was hurt by red since my 4850 had a horrible factory fault and I fixed it with a BFG 260 maxxcore.

Nothing in the Nvidia camp that comes close to that at the moment bud.
Up to you though :)

Funny that. My 8800GT that died on me pushed me to the red camp and I've never looked back since. :)

I am in the 'best value for money' camp. So far AMD gets my money every 2 years...
im an amd fan and unfortunately between BD and the 7xxx series,it seems like geforce/intel are taking the win in terms of price/performance.amd has had to drop their prices for their 7 series already and once the market has been flooded with 670's then amd will probably have to drop their prices again just to stay in the competition

to reply to the original question "Any opinions on the KFA geforce cards?" im also a value for money builder.hence my 7850.but in general when it comes to brands,i say if its Reference design(same pcb) and decent warranty, then go for the cheapest option

AMD already has the market share.
So as far as I am concerned they are on top at this point in time.
Remember they have been selling cards since Jan, Nvidia are only now starting to sell and they are struggling to keep up with demand as they can't maintain a proper stock level. As for bang for buck mid range the 7850 beats any and everything, I can get them for as little as R2300. High range the 7970 and 680 are on par, with the 7970 clocking better and the 680 yielding better power usage. So as far as who is on top right now, I would say AMD by a long way...untill Nvidia can make enough cards to keep up with demand.

Before anyone calls me a fanboy, I am the VERY proud owner of a EVGA GTX690 4GB.
Also running 3x 7970..As far as I am concerned, performance wise AMD and Nvidia are right on par with each other.

they may have market share now..but its easy to compete with an oponent with very little available(only released 670 and 690 in the last 2 weeks).the true tell is when all the cards have been released and settled into the market.so i agree and disagree with you.

on a side note A) you get awesome prices and B) awsome rigs, wish i wasnt a student

im curious if KFA does Radeon
