Any reccomendations on real time stratagy games?

-Company of heroes :D best RTS EVER!
-Men of War was also good
-Big fan of World in conflict
-Command and conquer general's is great :D
-Ruse was also quite nice
 
Too bad about the C&C games. They really dropped the ball in slow motion TV replay there. Let's see if they can pick up the franchise with Generals 2. It peaked at Zero Hour. Does anyone still play zero hour?

C&C Generals: Zero Hour is one of my all time favourite RTS's. Many hours lost to that game, when me and my buddies used to lan a lot.

It also had an awesome modding community, some very cool mods. One of my favourites was the BOSS mod.

Damn getting all hazy eyed with all this nostalgia going on. Ahh to be able to lan 36hrs without sleep again :P

Makes me tear up too. The last time we tried an old school LAN we resorted to COD 2 and 3 in the end. The idea was to max the weekend on Forged Alliance (now THERE'S an RTS that had promise), but the notorious sim speed bug got the better of us (3 hour games rendered unplayable). I kept hoping against hope some modder would crack the problem and fix it for us... but now the Total Annihilation team has come up with Planetary Annihiliation, funded through kickstarter. The question is, will they allow private servers?
