Anyone else in the MechWarrior online closed Beta?

matchmaking is pretty messed up atm.You either get a team of people that know how to play and already bought their own Atlas or you get grouped together with people who don't know how to move their own mech or how to configure weapon groups.

I have seen team where i have 4 jenners,1 commando,1 atlas and 2 hunchbacks and the enemy group has 3 atlas's 2 jenners and 2 hunchbacks backed up by a catapult missile boat.

Currently i only have a commando and i don't want to use the trail mechs because they give little money and no XP.

So anyone want to start a group that's in the BETA?

lol,I registered last year and only got the code last Friday.I was raging when i heard Borderlands2 wasn't gonna be released Friday and the email for beta access cheered me up.

oh my word, i am indeed a dumbass, just checked my web mail and i too have access, my bads for mini rage earlier, see you on the battlefield :P

Just bought my first mech last night. That Commando, quite a shit mech lol.

The commando is good if used right,you can pick enemies apart by focusing fire on an enemy mech's ammo storage and then aiming for it's torso when it's ammo goes boom.

If you have a squad of 3 commando's then you can pick apart a heavy mech if you stay close to cover and take turns firing.It's bad that you can't choose what maps you want to play,2 of the 4 maps are large and open and don't provide enough cover for light mechs and their short ranged weapons.You can put a PPC on a commando but you will lose allot of punch.putting LRM's also isn't optional because of the hefty ammo costs.

I think the server just died, cannot connect at the moment.

Yeah I put a medium pulse laser and left the SRM's on there. Just grinding to get more cash and get a better mech.

I think we should get a TS group going, joining each others' games (if it's possible) and coordinating our movements.

NDA isn't really a problem unless they find you.

@Kuga,yeah a patch was just released so the servers are updating.

Should start looking for a free teamspeak channel.

Edit:I suggest we edit out our names and share via private messaging.

Dunno,servers are offline and update isn't out yet nor is the patch notes.
Edit:just came out,going fast so i'm guessing around 100mb or so.
