Anyone here a board gamer?

What kind of board games do u mean then..? Like chess? Or risk? Or 30 seconds???

More like US and Euro games, as apposed to traditional. For example I'm going through a few different games at present.

Gears of War: The Board Game - this really is fantastic. It's similar to the current D&D adventure games, but I find it a bit more refined and with smarter AI. I do love the idea that your hand of cards counts as your health.

Granada - a Euro game that's a spin-off from Alhambra. The mechanics are almost identical, except that you can flip the buildings, and values are variable.

Death Angel: The Card Game - based off of the Warhammer 40K Space Hulk board game. 1) this doesn't cost an arm and a leg 2) it's 1-6 players. You're stuck aboard a Space Hulk, which is infested with Tyranids. You need to choose the right actions/strategies in order to survive this punishing game

That's it for now, but there are tons more.

I just got Red November, but I have not had a chance to play it yet.

I have been playing a lot of Pandemic and Battlestar Galactica of late, and Kids of Carcassonne and Rattlesnake with my son

I played the World of Warcraft board game a couple of times.

It's pretty awesome once you get into it, but you need to set aside at least 6 hours to complete it.

Do you mean the full-on big box WoW game, or the smaller box Adventure game?

Friend of mine has lent me Quarriors (dice-building game). I cannot wait to give it a go.

Latest gave I've tried is Citadels. WOW - I have been blown away by it.

It has a typical Euro box (not appealing), but it hides a very interesting game underneath. The general premise is building 8 districts in your city before anyone else does. From this you score points from your city, districts built and what not.

Each round you’ve given the choice of which character in the city you wish to play, and each has its own abilities.

I won’t go too much into detail (yet), but it really has become my group’s favourite party game.

Not in the strictest sense, but I guess it does :D

The last time I played Magic...I think 6th edition had just been released. It's been a very long time.

I do wanna get the Game f Thrones board game!

Own the books and first season, so I want the board game as well :p!
