Anyone playing Singularity??Fix found for texture issue

Hi guys

Got Singularity yesterday and been having a lot of fun with it,like a Wolfenstein/Bioshock hybrid but very cool.Running eveything maxed and getting 98-108 fps @1920x1080.Gameplay is pretty cool and the Time manipulation device is a pretty nice feature.Lots of gore and some cool boss fights.The only thing that is rather crappy is the "texture streaming issue" that most people have encountered(me included).When you start to play everything looks brilliant but after playing for longer than an hour or so the textures start to look very crappy.There are some fixes on the net but I dont feel like doing hex editing so I hope Raven will release a patch to cure this.A lot of guys are also having sound problems but luckily my sound is perfect and rather good.If you want to get this game,I suggest wait for the first patch.

I would say 8/10 for me anyway,its bloody entertaining and I sat for about 3 hours last night non-stop playing.Cant remember the last time I sat with a game for that long in one go.Better than Wolfenstein imo.

Graphics are pretty good and the gameplay is great.Loads of options for upgrading guns as well as upgrading your TM device.Lots of gore and plenty of enemies to kill,good mix of different types of enemies.Time gun is super cool where you can actually steer bullets with your mouse to your target!!Load times are nice and fast and gameplay is very smooth. If you are looking for a good solid shooter get this,I will post back about the texture fix,cause thats my only gripe with this game so far.

I've finished the game once already and am about halfway with my second playthrough. I'll give this 8.5/10, it is awesome and I didn't get bored once. For me to play a singleplayer FPS twice in a row is very, very rare, in fact this is the first time ever. I really enjoy this game, very cool old-school FPS.

I dunno, I'm still not convinced. It looks like Bioshock/Wolfenstein/Prey and Timeshift all rolled into one. And only one of those games are actually worth playing. Or am I way off course here?
 
Each to his own Murph,I personally think its a great game and on my new 27 inch it looks and plays bloody brilliant.For me its better than Wolfenstein and Bioshock so far.By the way i tried the "texture fix" on my lunch at home and can confirm it WORKS!! Point the file at your Singularity install folder and change the pool size to 400 and patch,easy as that.Its looking much better now.
