Anyone still playing UMvC3 on the Xbox 360?

I absolutely love and adore this game... there were one or two local tournaments that I wanted to play, couldn't make it, and then the whole scene died out... seems our FGC is just not as dedicated as the guys in America

So there are some online players, but no one local. All the games are in Europe, and thus, our latency sucks. I so want to try out my skillz (yes, with a z!) on other people. What do you think happens when two local people play? Would that be peer-to-peer with a low latency?

My dreams of playing fighter games online in SA have been smashed. Same story with Mortal Kombat. There are almost no local players. It's like the fighting-game community in SA is zero to none at best. Playing with international players is near impossible due to lag. So I guess I'll only pick up this genre again when we're in Canada. Then it's game-on!

Dude, I promise you it's the lag that's killing you. Not skill so much. I'm not bad at fighting games and I get smacked around purely due to lag.
