Apex [RAW]?

So I want to upgrade my kb to a gaming kb and i would like to hear any past experiences or benefits of the SteelSeries Apex Raw, as this is the most likely kb that i will buy...

I own the Steel Series Apex and it is an amazing board.
I would save a little more cash and grab it over the raw, this board is utterly brilliant with every bell and whistle available on it.

But really what are the benifits of the apex over the Raw besides more macro keys and 11mil. colours (or so )?
