Apologising for teamkills

Ok teamkills are by and large accidents. Usually the other player did not mean to do this, so I feel that taking time out of the game to type an apology is unnecessary.
Bf3's punish feature is completely dumb too. One guy tk's by accident then the 'victim' punishes him, essentialy a tk as well. So now a team is down 2 guys because of a simple accident.

If you tk me just know I don't expect an apology but how do you guys feel about this?

Eh, I'll usually write an apology depending on how elaborate the guy's name is. If it's something like 'Kosie' I'll just write 'sorry kosie', but if it's something like 'xxXh17m@n4SS4SS1NXxx' then I'm not even going to bother. With a name like that, he probably deserves it anyway.

If it happens to me, an apology is nice, but not really needed. I already know it was likely an accident. If you've got a medpack or defibs, then at least revive me, though.

A "soz/sorry" is fine. It's a courtesy, like if you stepped on some-one toe. You don't have to say it bit it's polite.

I normally just type soz :( or sorry or sorry (insert name here) and yes the bf3 punish system sucks

I like this guy!

I don't know, to be honest I don't apologize unless I have the time to stop and type, which I generally don't
General rule is, if the Gun is "ON" don't walk infront of the side spitting fire :)

Yeah, but sometimes you round a corner and shoot before you realise it's a friendly.

I always say "soz but I blame you" unless it really was my fault remember don't run in front of a loaded gun or grenade.

If it was complete unintentional, which it usually is, I don't expect a "Sorry". If I do get one, it's polite and sincere of the player.. So that's fine... However... If it persists, even if it was unintentional, that's when I become annoyed...

Once I did a double TK (only because) the 2 fools went and ran into a building that was collapsing after I'd RPGd a few rounds into that b*tch. I loled and apologised.

Its not necessary in my opinion. Its still polite and if you can type it out then do so. By extension if I get TKed then I don't really care, shit happens and everyone is killed by it once.

Just if you do get TKed, dust yourself and get back in the game as soon as you can. Don't be like the idiot I once had who spent the rest of the match screaming into the mic yelling every insult imaginable because he got TKed.

TKing happens (especially in HC). It is not uncommon. But yelling insults is definitely not the way to go.
As long as it doesn't become a thing, it is fine if it happens once or twice... Just NOT repeatedly. Which is actually another reason I do not play HC anymore, it's far too stressing...

I actually used to only play HC because it actually felt easier. I always had this nagging suspicion that people cheated in non-HC, because I'd shoot people and they'd turn around and kill me. In HC, if you shoot someone, they die. :p
