Apparent GTA 5 details!!!

The cops are much, much, much more realistic. If you kill somebody when you know there are no cops around you will not run the risk of a one star as often as you would in GTA4. The cops will use smoke and tear gas, dogs, riot gear and rams to knock down the doors of buildings you are hiding in.

True or not, it sounds feasible. Really looking forward to GTA V.
 
For instance, we saw the main character (an African/American, early 30′s) travel by car from the center of Los Santos into the wilderness and it took over 15 minutes.

Oh dear... There aren't enough black protagonists in games but if this turns into another San Andreas with the whole African-American gangster stereotyping, then regardless of how formidable a game this is, consider my interest zero.
 
Sounds awesome, but I wonder how many of these realism aspects will just be scripted, like Mafia II hissing cat, only happening once in the entire game :/
 
They need to remove that abysmal auto-aim mechanic.

I can't disagree with any of changes. Hopefully they aren't just rumours.

I just hope that the new Grand Theft Auto will scale better on lower end systems.

Unless your character actually locks the door behind him when entering a building, this will be stupid. I can see that happening in a scripted event but if you hide a building to get away from the helicopters and they come ramming through an unlocked door...

I can agree with this, but I should add that I played Vice City and San Andreas on PC before I touched them on consoles. They weren't bad there. I have no experience with GTA IV in that regard though.

But you do have a point there. I think these sandbox games are a little more console focused.

Shut up. Your posts are beginning to bug the shit out of me. I had black friends at the time of san andreas saying it was retarded the whole ghetto shit.
Don't go around spewing you are racist bec the oke does not want to play as a black character.

That's not what I said. I clearly said "There aren't enough black protagonists in games." However, I am against the stereotyping of African-American folk in games as "ghetto gangsters." I'm sick of that stereotype and if GTA V turns into that load of trash again, then I'm not interested.

By all means, give us a sophisticated black protagonist. But another low-life stereotype? Count me out.

Although, that's sort of the thing with the GTA series--it's all about stereotypes and extremes.

wow that got a bit outta hand, new guy is quite funny actually now that i read it over, gotta agree also dont like the ghetto theme myself. hope that gta evolves into the option to change main characters then they have slightly different story's but still follow the same basics. would be a bit tricky to develop and do up right but i personally would like the option to have different main characters, or even just a character editor where you can make your own looking character.

That's not a bad idea. Saints Row employ the same idea of character creation. Pity that the character follows the same story, regardless of what you created. Different main characters is a great solution in that regard...but then again, we are talking about GTA here.
