Was quite suprised not seeing a thread yet about ArcheAge, anyone going to be playing this or took that HUGE plunge to get into the current Alpha TrionWorlds has thrown at you for $150?

For those not knowing about ArcheAge yet.. In short the game has been out for over a year now at Korean and Trionworlds are now converting it to english to publish it to the english community around NA/EU, and yes it's another MMORPG, and it's a sandbox MMO.

Been interested in this for awhile, but I think it's gonna take awhile until they release some type of beta or cheaper alpha, trying to not get too hyped, might be a long wait!

I really doubt they will bring a cheaper alpha, but all i know from watching their live stream last week is that the BETA starts early June.

I am currently playing the RU version just to check the game out, alot of guides and english patches making this possible and playable going on the reddit ArcheAge page :)
 
For a second I thought it was Arceblade, which is also a recently released MOBA Smite like Arena free to play game by Koreans on Steam with a surprisingly healthy playerbase and ability to host dedicated servers. Running on the Unreal Engine 3.
 
Been on my watch list for years, but I've decided against paid Alphas/BETAs for a while. I get regular updates and watch a lot of MMO press reviews, so I'm not too fussed and can wait until I either get the opportunity to play CBT or OBT. :)
 
Something for you guys to drool about ;) one of the Alpha guilds i am in optained one of this after lots of farming and getting all the mats for, currently the best ship in the game, the Black Pearl.

 
Anyone have like extra beta keys to give away?

Really want to check it out, but not willing to become founder or whatever the packages are called until I have had a go at it.
Missed the beta key on Raptr for some reason -.-

I got a beta invite but unfortunately it's not a key. Would have given it to you otherwise.
 
Hey Gents/Ladies,

Myself and some friends played the beta and enjoyed it that we will be starting up today on launch. We just browsing and asking if there are any other South Africans playing and what server you thinking of joining so we can all join the same one. below is the servers

Europe

• Shatigon
• Kyprosa
• Eanna
• Dahuta
• Aier

Look forward to anyone else that keen to join :)

Currently playing on Kyprosa, it's a unofficial more English server than the rest, Aier came online last night and if you are going to be a F2P user i would recommend playing on that unless you would like to stand behing 2000+ Patron players in the queue and never get to play :) but then again Aier will probably have a queue tonight as well, but i am sure it will have less Patron users in your way.

Thanks Buddy,

Ill be patron and a bunch of other, we might have some f2p guys who are just wanting to try the game out for now.

Thanks for the info and i doubt much gaming will take place due to the servers and the influx of players.

np :) Good thing is they have added the grace period today, so when you DC you still have time to get back without being in a queue.

Does not help when you only get home from work like 6pm and you cant play as the queue is 4000+- on every server :( and I got patron status, but I see they having issue with that as well.

Login before you go to work and idle on the character select screen ;) no AFK timer, i do that and when i get home from work.. i am still on the character select screen and just login and start playing.

And yea most F2P players have patron status and it's a bug which is making the queue even longer for those who actually paid for patron.

Managed to get to level 14 with the melee/warrior class.

I think the game has great potential but there are just way too many people and not enough servers. I think if they had removed the f2p option and left it with the monthly sub model only, the game would have done a lot better.
