Are Blu-ray movies region free or zoned like DVDs?

They got a Region of A- America side of the world B -africa and so forth - c for asia

PS3 is region locked. So region locked discs won't play.
Refer to the site I linked you to and check if the actual disc is region free or not, if it is, then you can buy it.
The majority of my Blu-rays come from the US and all of them are region free, but I checked the listing on the site beforehand.

As far as I know the Region coding only applies to BR movies and DVD's. Not to games. My God of War Collection is Region A/1 and works fine. But my region 1 DVDs dont.
Anyone have further details on this?

Games are region free.
Blu-ray's (as in the media variety, movie, music, etc) are generally region coded. However a lot of Blu-ray media discs are multi-region. Once again, refer to the link I posted. It's a pretty good reference.
