Are expensive console subscriptions worth it in South Africa?

Exchange rate aside, we are still getting the short end of the stick.

It's a sucky one. I'm on gold for Games with Gold mostly and I do believe I've gotten my money's worth. But it can be hit or miss with the free games. It's very disappointing that we get less than overseas customers even though we pay the same amount. It's just not fair.
