Are you a gaming Magpie?

Do you like to collect all the things? Especially the shiny ones?

Tell us which games have the best things to pick up and those horrible games that only have 12 inventory slots for 100 items :(

I end up collecting a lot of stuff. Sometimes for no reason at all.

In games with money only I'll end up with a lot of it because I don't really ever end up buying much stuff.

In other games with skill points I'll end up with maybe 7 skill points to spend before I realise maybe I should do something about that.

I'm an achievement whore, so it usually goes hand in hand, since the more rare (and therefore more appealing) achievements are the 100% collected/explored achievements :p

I shall not admit to the fact that I collected everything - from all the pets in WoW - both horde and alliance side till when I quit the game. GW2 I collected all the dyes and started on the pets - that was when I quit.

I have to loot everything, all the time, drives me mental that i cant always pic up everything. (@czc - I assume you go the idea after I bitched so much about no bag space in Deus)

I did. It saved my bacon in coming up with a post.

I'll post a screenshot of my inventory in Deus Ex tomorrow (I have to sleep over in Rustenburg tonight) and we can compare.

ahahahahahaha shame man! lemme try and get past this stupid first boss - still dying to much

Then, after a game like that, you play one where there is nothing to pick-up. And you still go into each and every nook and cranny to see if there isn't something you can open or pick up. And after a few hours, when you should've realized there is nothing that opens and nothing to pick-up, you still waste hours of valuable time, looking for hidden spots or drawers or chest or brooms or ........jirrrrr

Yeah, especially in Skyrim. Need to collect all da herbs. :D

---------Misunderstood post...old reply below @ achievements
Used to. Until they started adding a billion BS achievements. Very quickly got to the "f this" stage.

I did actively chase some of the TF2 ones though since they're often once off interesting things rather than "collect 100 xyz".
