Are You A Wrist or Elbow Gamer?

I see many pros playing with their entire front arm resting on the mouse pad, and making movements using their whole arm.

I prefer a quick swipe of the wrist for that "180 no scope". :D

What is your preference?

Do you lean on your arm, or lean on your wrist?

Whatever your choice, why do you prefer that method of play?

Let me know; comment below.

Arm for big movements but wrist for the finer movements. I find having a low sensitivity/dpi settings gives me a lot more precision in FPS games. Its just always felt natural for me to play that way.

I've seen some people play with high sense + high DPI with mouse acceleration on and their extremely accurate. It all just comes down to what your comfortable with and how you build muscle memory.

Wrist only. I keep the back of my palm planted firmly on the edge of the mouse-pad and after an extended gaming session I have the rug-burn to prove it.

Wrist, the dpi on my mouse generally means i don't have to use my entire arm

CS:GO - you use the wrist. CS your encounters are more controlled you learn the maps and know which corners to watch, what spots to prefire and its al about that split second timing.

other games life BF4 or Cod I use the elbow, especially in BF games where you transition from vehicle to foot and such also the bigger areas mean less controlled encounters at various ranges so a longer mouse stroke gives you better control.

I played BF3 and BF4 and thought I was ok I could get 1:1 kd ratio after adapting my setup based on a Tryhard Jackfrags video I improved and could consistently get improved K/D ratios.

Lowering mouse dpi gives me better consistent aim (more headshots), you just need to make sure you got a good big mouse pad.
