I have been a gamer pretty much my whole life (I turned 30 in Jan) and after speaking to Hiro today i started thinking of the future of this hobby of mine.
Shit is getting crazy. Gaming is pretty much the only thing i spend a lot of money on and i feel i am at a point in my life where i am thinking of just stopping. Maybe i should stop spending R2-3K a month on games and rather start saving for a house or a new car of whatever. As much as i enjoy my time gaming, i am just wondering if it has reached a point where the price points of everything has just gotten too much?
As anyone else reached this point? I really don't see how this shit can continue for the next 5 or 10 years in my life. Would you consider quitting games completely? Or will the fomo be too much for you?
