asking for a donation

Hi guys

I would like to know if there is someone out there that has got spare pc parts lying around, and would be willing to donate me some

We had an old pc built up of scraps to use for the kids to get them pc literate with educational games on. (Can't use my laptop, it is too slow and both the dvd and cd drives has packed up a while ago already.) Anyways, the motherboard decided to pack up, and the psu's fan is busy conking too.

I would really appreciate it if someone could help me out. I am willing to collect the parts (if in pta/jhb).

I cant say anything just yet however with the spare parts i managed to salvage from some of our new stores I might be able to twist my bosses arm and ask him for some of the parts which is practically a new PC right there... PSU, CPU and Cooler, Hard drive, unsure about the mobo, 1gig Ram.

Well as Far as Old Parts go I've got an old Celeron based Pc
Celeron 448 2.8 Ghz
ECS Elite Motherbaord with Pci Express Slot
Cooling fan for CPU
512 MB Ram

Let me know if you would like the parts, not in JHB though but can be overnighted I suppose

Lol dude thats better than my actually pc i got , i game on my work laptop lol.

It doesn't have a gfx card except for the onboard one, whic functions fine for low end apps.
Worst case scenario you can always add a 8400 GT for 400 bucks and start playing CoD 4 **

Note with a 8400 GT CoD 4 looks a lot like Quake 1 but is playable at 50 FPS

That stuff I shouldnt have a problem with... What size are we looking at from a PSU pov because obviously we would need the right size and stuffs I have a 250watt and I think i have a 450watt around somehwere....
