Assassin’s Creed III is officially set during the American Revolution

Native american? aren`t they supposed to be the guy`s ancestors?... can`t draw a line from modern white american to native american to italian.

In Assassin's Creed, human beings were created by the master race known as the 'The First Civilisation'. Humans were basically slaves to this race, and looked upon them as gods, hence all the modified religious references found throughout the games.

Although created by the first civilisation, genetics appear to be involved, and humans contain traces of First Civilisation DNA. It is posited that about 1 in every million humans has enough First Civilisation DNA to be able to access the genetic memories that we play about in throughout the series.

Following Desmond's genetic trail and the timelines of the games, it's plausible Desmond is related to Altair, whose descendants may have entered into Europe and bred with the ancestor's of European Ezio. Ezio's descendants could have hopped on a boat during the colonisation of North America, and subsequently bred with the Native American population, leading us to this new Assassin in ACIII. Finally, the descendants of this new assassin lead us to modern day Desmond who is an American.

Think you just stole there story line... Brilliant explantion aswell.
 
I am actually look forward to see what new gameplay antics Ubisoft an come with and new weaponary since its a different timeline... Specially looking forward to using that bow and arrow.
