Assassin’s Creed Unity - how much will it cost?

Bit the bullet and pre-ordered the Notre Dame edition a few months back. Felt a little nauseous after making the payment as I'd never spent so much on a game but have gotten over it and am amped to receive it next month :D

Some of us have already pre-ordered for collector's editions. So I have some pickpocketing to do before the release date.

Also pre-ordered the Notre Dame edition, but I might actually cancel it. A colleague of mine recently upgraded his PC and I can buy his old PC (which is better than my current one) for about the same price as the Unity CE. Just need to figure out which one of the two I want/need more.

That's a tough decision to make :p

Tell me about it, lol. The thing is, if I buy the PC I just need to upgrade my GPU and then I should be able to run the Witcher 3 (which I already own on GOG). But then again, if I don't get the Notre Dame edition I might regret it forever. I'm gonna have to think long and hard about this one.

Why not try sell your current pc and try get both?

I would have liked to do that, but my brother wants to take my old motherboard and CPU and since he gave my a bunch of the hardware inside my current PC (4GB RAM and 3 HDD's), I feel obliged to give it to him. If I buy the PC I'm basically only going to take the mobo, CPU and RAM and keep my old case, power supply, GPU and HDD's. My brother will then take my old mobo, CPU and RAM along with the case, GPU and power supply from the PC I want to buy. It will mean I can upgrade from my current quad core (not core 2 quad, still the older CPU) to an i5 with about the same amount of RAM.

Then I say cancel your pre-order. Collectors editions are cool but I think you'll getvmore use out of the Pc. Plus AWX has some nice AC unity statues for pre-order which might fit in with the tighter budget.

You could also look into asking your colleague if he would accept a payment plan until the December bonus (if applicable).

Yeah, I'm leaning more towards that at the moment. I mean, the Arno statue will look awesome next to my other AC statues but that's it, it will just sit there and gather dust while looking awesome. The PC, on the other, is something that I will literally use everyday.

The alternative but this is iffy, split the preorder with someone who wants the game. You take the goods and they get the game and DLC.
