optimising for pc platforms usually take longer due to different processors, intel vs amd, amd vs nvidia etc and different configurations.

Remember the pc version has to scale itself from low end rigs to high end rigs where for the consoles they just make use of one or 2 levels of detail scaling etc. also with the pc's they usually add extra dx11 effects etc.

True - plus at least we don't have to wait as long for the PC version to come along like we do with games from Rockstar. Oh and I still need to actually finish ACIII too lol.

Hehe - I know the feeling. Brotherhood was worth the effort although AC2 is still my favourite. I tried to like Revelation but I never bothered finishing it...also that silly tower defense thing it had was just silly. I started getting into ACIII and I was just starting to enjoy it when something else came along and stole my attention.

I need to play Revelations and 3.

Brotherhood is definitely worth the play in my book.

At least the delay isn't as long as it was with the first few games. With those it was months! AC III was one month, and this looks to be about the same.
