Assassin's Creed Syndicate won't be releasing until November on PC, Ubisoft has announced.

In a post on the UbiBlog, the publisher confirmed that unlike the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions, which will be available on October 23, Assassin's Creed Syndicate will be available for those on PC on November 19.

With regard to why the PC version will be releasing nearly a month later than its console counterparts, Ubisoft Kiev studio production manager Sam Kovalev explained the extra time will allow the team to ensure the game is as stable and polished as possible on launch day.

"The additional four weeks are for us to really bear down and finalize all of the polish and optimization, to make sure the game and all of its systems are stable when it launches, so it runs smoothly for all players starting on day one," Kovalev said.

Look, it's ubisofts second annual announcement, first being the announcement of a new AC game.

Ahh, the Ubisoft cycle continues.

Step 1: After releasing a disappointing annualized game, apologize for it and promise that the next one will be so much better.
Step 2: Announce your new game, with a simultaneous Holiday release date.
Step 3: When asked by PC journalists whether or not the PC version will be delayed, lie and regurgitate a prepared PR statement.
Step 4: Delay PC version once enough pre-orders are in, and say that you need more time to prepare the PC version to reach the standard of PC players.
Step 5: Release shoddy port completed by Ubisoft Kiev, who have a great track record by now. /s
Step 6: Profit?
