I hope this hasn't been posted before. I'm quickly posting it before going to work.

Minimum PC Specs:

Intel Core i5-2500K @ 3.3 GHz or AMD FX-8350 @ 4.0 GHz or AMD Phenom II x4 940 @ 3.0 GHz processor
6 GB RAM
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680 or AMD Radeon HD 7970 (2 GB VRAM) video card

Wow! First game I won't be able to run!

Wow, those are some very high system requirements...

Looking at the specs though, the minimum AMD CPU required is an AMD FX-8350 @ 4 GHz, and the recommended AMD CPU is an AMD FX-8350 @ 4 GHz...isn't that the same CPU?

If I get this, it will be for the Xbox One in any case.

Looks like ubisoft is pushing next gen sales. I mean I played the game on xbox one at rage, it wasn't that impressive from a graphical stand point. Shadow of mordor looked better on the same console and I'm running that on high right now.

My PC will probably cry and test me upon execution of the game: "Please, son. First upgrade, then return". As was a similar case with Crysis 3 last year, with my old PC. My GPU (GeForce 8800GT at the time) was unable to run it due to DX11-incompatibility.

On a serious note:

Those specs are really high. How accurate are they...

This will be the first time in MANY years that my PC specs fall under the minimum requirements of a game :wtf:

Is NVIDIA GeForce GTX 670 SLI better or worse than NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680?

I reckon I should be okay, but that's crazy for minimum specs. Not really interested in the game though. I've yet to finish all the ones set in Italy.

I wonder why it is so high. I mean the graphics does look good, but not THAT amazing to warrant such high minimum specs. It seems as if this is gonna be another badly optimized mess of a game like Watch Dogs was.

Luckily just upgraded my rig... But dayamn, those specs are rough.

I'm thinking the game should run on PC's with lower specs (I ran CoD Ghosts with a stokou gfx card that everybody said wouldn't be able to - took a long time to load, but the fps was playable)

Their minimum specs for Watch_Dogs was also insane, but purely because of bad optimization. Same thing here.

I am no genius or compu-engineer but the PS4 has 8GB's Of unified RAM how does this game have such high system spec- wait... wait... It's ubisoft... Never mind.

And I'm out.

I read an interview where one of the developers was saying that they have been waiting to create an AC game set in paris for a long time, but because the city was so populated back in those days, the last gen hardware wouldn't have been able to pull it off, and so they had to wait until the current gen to do the city Justice. Because crowds are part of the background, you don't really notice them, but each person has to be animated and have their own AI, so you can imagine what kind of resources it takes to control something like that:
