A new Assassins Creed has just been revealed Assassins Creed: Unity, it looks to take place during the French revolution and it seems to be a PS4/XB1 and possibly PC only project. (not too sure on the details at the moment) Pictures have been popping up all over Reddit as well as other message boards this afternoon showing Alpha PS4 footage of the game, and later this evening a trailer was finally released.

As this point in time the launch date is "Holidays 2014" (Christmas?)

Looks like we are about 200 years away from getting a modern Assassins Creed, perhaps the next title after this will be just that?

Also, Far Cry 4 was announced by Ubisoft earlier today.

It's next gen only which is great because they are not going to create it with current gen in mind which will degrade the graphic quality.

They will apparently be working on a current gen AC though to launch with it. Maybe it's a dedicated current gen Unity?

I love the setting and my god those graphics look amazing.I wonder how many Titans are being used to run that engine.
