Ati Eyefinity

So, who has got theirs working?

I got mine working on Friday after I had to order the "USB powered Displayport to DVI Adapter" from Amazon.com.

I previously ran a Tripplehead2go with 19' screens. My new setup is running 3 x Samsung P2370's. Current screen resolution is 6040x1080. Most games perform very well under Eyefinity, but some newer and older ones are crap...

Included are some screenies of my new system as well as the old Triplehead2go. Comments and views are welcome :)

My current screen resolution:

Sweet setup. What ATI card are you running?

TBH, I need to do a bit of renovation/knocking down of walls before I look into a Eyefinity setup.

I am running the ATi 5870. It is a sweet card....Running all in FULL detail and getting on average about 40 to50 frames per second in DX9. It drops to about 35 frames in DX10 on Age of Conan.

Awesome setup dude.
i am making my new pc will buy Samsung LCD....
is that SAMSUNG P2350????
Just got new card ATI 5750.

With the release of Radeon series 5800 comes a new feature. It's called Eyefinity. Eyefinity in short is having the ability to connect multiple monitors to your graphics card and create an extreme native resolution. It allows you to setup two to six monitors, combine them and make one massive screen.

I didn't know you had to buy more adapters to get your stuff working? What gives? I thought you'd get everything you need with the card!!??

you can try using this app. Much cheaper than forking out R3k for a new card. all you need is a spare pc. not even a strong pc. you can do exactly what you can do with eyefinity.works out to about.

works out to about R727.636 for the full pro version.

Yeah, I dare you to play games on it...come on show us how its done...I run AoC in DX10 with FULL settings and running at about 50 fps. Your solution is not for gaming.

It is one of the biggest gripes I have with ATI. I have not seen a card being sold that has the powered displayport to dvi adapter included.
