Audiobooks

Been an Audible subscriber since 2012. Absolutely love audio books. Listen to 2-4 books a month depending on how much driving I do. Some of the productions on Audible are really high quality stuff. They get in professional readers and sometimes hollywood actors to read the books and some of the performances are quite well done.

Dune was read by something like 10 people and had ambient sound effects n all.

Still read books as well though, on paper and kindle. At any time I'll have 2-3 books that I'm reading/listening to.

I've never tried it but I feel I wouldn't like it. I don't know. I know I watch this guy on youtube - Simple Programmer - who listens to audio books at 2 - 3 times speed.

I've found and listening to a few that are just amazing. But Audible's subscription rates are just insane. Maybe I just don't read/listen enough to warrant spending that on it.

I'm also looking at finding a Kindle or Kobo. Do these also do audio? (I really have no idea).
