Ill be posting some more as the show goes on, feel free to post your own if you do come across any cool new tech.

At the end of the day, 90% of the gadgets shown are toys and will never see any widespread commercial success, it is fun to see though.

those vizio ultrabooks look orsome , i hope it comes to SA ! definately a macbook killer imo

I think of Apple as the Mercedes or BMW of the computer world. They bring out all the cool new toys and a few years later these toys make their way into almost cars by which time Mercedes & BMW bring out all new Toys.

Apple has over a year head start on the ultrabook craze which is only now really making its way into the wider consumer electronics market.

I have to admit Jobs's corpse was barely cold before the competitors started pushing out macbook like devices at a frighting pace.

Apple innovate - the rest follow. Problem is, only the original innovator truly understands the product and its customers, thats part of the reason why most other tablets fail for example.

/But we digress...

Has anyone seen the TV's at CES. It's insane 55" OLED and CystalLED systems. Once this technology drops in price. All us gamers will rejoice when XBOX 720 or PS4 is matched to it.
