Cool things to do with your old PC components

Have you a load of old PC parts laying about and no idea what to do with them?

I loved this article. My favourite is the CD-Rom Salami slicer...

Yeah that is pretty cool. Wouldn't have really thought about that until I read that article. My Fav was the HDD clock, I think that's pretty cool. I think I might turn my old one into a game server or a server of some sort

The HDD clock was nifty, but i wouldnt mind that bike on my shelf

Also, must find old server case for a new braai box. Something in me just feels it is fitting.

Hehe, I stuck an old motherboard on the wall at my work desk. Not quite as imaginative but I did something.

The best thing to do remains to break old components even further by gravity or hammer

Hahaha. I love those HDD clocks. I have even seen a company who make digital displays. Some interesting tech that goes into it, but it costs more than just a few pennies. The analog clock is a great idea though, I should try make one myself.

I have an old pc chassis lying around, i think im gonna make a weber style braai.
If anybody has an old broken ps3, i would like to create a george forman style griller and to anybody with a broken pre-Jasper xbox360[tons of those!],
could donate that,i would like to make a toaster out of it.
When the lights go red you know your toast is ready!
