With ADSL giving a whopping maximum upstream speed of 1Mbps if you're among the fortunate few with 10Mbps access?

Teach me, oh Axxess! How will I host an official gameserver on my rubbish (and shaped on top of that) ADSL connection?

Can't win on a normal local dedicated server? Host your own for a 30-100ms advantage!
 
I kinda agree with the new guy. My current upload speed is only 50KB/s and with my line's instability, disconnecting at random intervals that requires me to restart the router, it will be pretty much useless for me. If I can get some decent ADSL service, the static IP might be a nice option.
 
Not bad for only R59 a month, providing you have a decent connection as mentioned before.
Hopefully this will result in an increase of local servers.
