Azimuth's favourite games of 2010

Bad Company 2 - Oh yes!
Mass Effect 2 - You betcha! My favorite game of the year. :D
Bioshock 2? - Personally I found it tedious and inferior in every way to Bioshock 1. I haven't bothered to finish it. :(
Black Ops - Most fun I've had in some time.
 
The story of Bioshock 1 was way better that 2. However, the game play of part 2 was insane. I LOVED that you could duel wield....

I haven't gotten around to Mass Effect 2 yet, but its definitely next on the list.

BC2: Awesome
ME2: Dunno, not my kinda game.
Bio2: Haven't played yet.
Blops: For me, brilliant.
RDR: Not finished yet, but almost there and excellent game

My Mentions:
Heavy Rain: Not just best of 2010, but my all time top 3

Utter FAIL of the decade: Medal of Honor
 
I'll put Mass Effect under the 10 best for the year certainly - but I'm not going to agree that in improved on ME1 in EVERY conceivable way.

Planet exploration ie running your damn mouse cursor over an entire planet to find your resources didn't fill me with insane amounts of glee. I happened to enjoy the mad off-roading that came with ME1. I want that back.

Otherwise - it was great. Waiting for ME3.
 
BC2: Awesome
Alan Wake: Never played it
ME2: Awesome
RDR: Awesome
Bioshock 2: Cash-in on Bioshock 1, but still worth playing
Halo Reach: Didn't even bother finishing it
CoD Black Ops: Awesome

Others I would add to the list would include Darksiders, Dead Rising 2, Demon's Souls, Heavy Rain and Fallout: New Vegas. The best game I have played this year (so far) is Castlevania: Lords of Shadow, but I think Assassin's Creed Brotherhood is about to beat that.
 
Damn, not a lot of love for Darksiders here. IMO it was a truly great game, I cannot wait for the sequel.
