Bad Company 2 New Patch

Hey jaco the patch has already been uploaded to the FTP of WAGE and if your a webafrica client you can download it on freezone.

Hi there

We are currently updating all the WAGE BFBC2 servers with the latest patch, we have made it available on our ftp for anyone to download: ftp://ftp.wage.co.za/wage/Patches/BF2BC2/BFBC2_PC_Client_R11.exe

Freezone:

Our FTP site is freezoned so any downloads made including patches, freeware, mods, maps etc... will not be deducted from your WebAfrica account if you are a member. No cap will be deducted if you are using our game servers, FTP and Steam servers. More to come soon...

C'mon you guys need to keep up, we had iGame updated before 9 :)
Not that anyone *cough* should be playing BC2 at 9 am on a Weekday

Early aren't we?, ours were updated at 11, according to the little chart we received at around 8:42 you guys must have updated your servers in less than ten minutes. You running on HP 9000's or something? But yeah, no-one is playing on the servers generally. Pretty much makes an early update pointless. But lets not turn this into a contest of sorts.

I wish, majority of time is spent working on evil little projects of awesomeness! Well you could apply for a public admin position but this would not be a paid for position and is generally considered voluntary.

Lol @ both Xero's. Even though no one is/should be playing now its good that its updated early. This should result in less frustration later on about why servers aren't working.

Absolutely. Better to have them ready for the peak times than not at all.

I have seen soooo many players on Before school / work this week that I was under the impression it was holiday already
 
That patch is HUGE!!!!!..... but what i dont get... why fix the game that nobody is going to play anytime soon... its a bit silly :/. All that effort right before bf3?

Well, considering that MoH was my fallback when BC2 wasn't working, now BC2 can be my fallback if BF3 doesnt work.

They call me Xero for short, admittedly not my nickname, but it's shorter...

Well, most of the high school students are writing their mocks at the moment, can't really say it feels like it's a school holiday.

Those were the days. In my Matric year, 56K modems were todays 10Mbps ADSL, Pentium 2 was still being launched, 10BaseT was the preferred network cable and you only needed a serial cable to play 1v1 games...
 
They should call you Six then :)
The name , specifically the shortened one is confusing to users and really really unnecessary
I thought we've been through this

At the very least you should Openly state that you are not affiliated with iGame or iBurst in any way or capacity when called by my name :)
Let's refrain from doing this in public though ;)

Jaco, I spent some of my best schooldays hunched infront of my now ancient 486 DXII playing some of the greatest games ever made, the old DOS ones :)
Now I can't ditch work for gaming anymore sadly
