Dude you should totally play with me on the servers. I drop ammo like nobody's business. I got my "long service award" for supplying ammo last night. IT WAS MY 2ND NIGHT AS ASSAULT! lol I personally HATE it when you're playing with medics and they only use healthpacks to heal themselves. Real morons.

What's a good starting class for someone new to BF BC2? Also, is it necessary to be using some form of VOIP for good teamwork? I havent started playing MP online yet; still busy with SP.

I know I sometimes drop random health packs where I know lots of people move.
That's also what most assault guys do they only drop when they are out.
Engineer and the medic just don't run and shoot with the LMG of the medic, Go stand still and or move slowly and aim for the head because aiming for the chest is the worst thing you can do. Don't worry even if you shoot over the head your likely to get a headshot.
Running and bunny hopping does not work in this game, I kill a lot of guys trying that tactic but this is not cs or cod so it does not work. Jumping over rockets are a whole different thing.
If you moving toward a tank from the front well your mostly dead. What you can try is jumping forward that could give you some precious minutes to get some cover just remember cover can be blown up so move away.

Ouch. There's no such thing as an "easy" server. I suggest any of the SGS or iGame servers. Stay away from HARDCORE mode until you've got the hang of things and try to play conquest mode....rush is a bit of a frag-fest and can discourage even the best players at times (sigh....).

Nope don't need voip at all just look around you the whole time to see whats going on most guys will mark targets.
If you are on the IS backbone from your isp then I would say go with the igame servers
If you have Saix backbone from your isp go for SGS
If you have WA [pings are awesome on the servers vs afrihost(IS) bad pings] I personally go with sgs more skilled players on there, When I started I started on the Igame servers and they where fun but now that my skill is higher I hate it completely, so start with the easier as you put it Igame servers.
The squad games are very interesting and it can raise your skill killing people, since you don't die like every 30secs.
Also see where people love to camp and remember it since about 90% of the guys will do it over and over and over again try to be random.
