Bandwidth woes...

So then I finally went over to dsl - from uncapped wireless...

... and I definitely need a class in bandwidth management 101. After 8 days of getting my 4gb cap refreshed I already received notification from Axxess that I've used up 2gb

I don't download torrents or anything, I mostly just play WoW. Could it be my dad using google earth on the other pc that's chowing my cap or what the problem is?

I've never had to worry about cap with my wireless, so are there any pointers from the rest of you?

I still have my wireless link up, so Im thinking of using route sentry to only channel WoW & BF2 through the dsl.

I think Google Earth uses a lot of bandwidth.

What wireless did you use?

I know you can use netlimiter 2 to check what is happening to your BW. You don't need to use route sentry, just connect the wireless for your dad and the adsl on your pc.

Edit: Think about getting a WA 30gig Local IS account @ R130/month.
