The apartheid-era Bantu education system was much better than the current education regime, a Wits academic said in Pretoria on Thursday.

"It was far better in terms of quality than the education that our kids are receiving nowadays. That is where the problem is," Rabelani Dagada, a lecturer at Wits Business School, told a debate on affirmative action.

Rabelani Dagada was born in Alexandra Township, Johannesburg, South Africa on 23 July 1971, but spent most of his childhood and youth in Limpopo, formerly Venda.[SUP][3][/SUP] Dagada holds a Masters of Education in Computer-based Education and a Masters of Commerce in Information Systems from the Randse Afrikaanse Universiteit and the University of Witwatersrand respectively. Dagada completed a short course at the University of London: Institute of Education, and he is currently completing a PhD in Information Systems at the University of South Africa.

The thing is he speaks the ultimate truth, and that's how subliminal the current govt is. They pull the cloth over people's eyes and point fingers all round.

The educational system is definitely badly managed and I'm glad that my courses don't have any dealings with the SA educational system, nor will I ever study through SA again.
 
I feel sorry for the sincere people in the government that are trying to fight the good fight but then gets shut down so quickly by their "comrades".

At least it's good to know that there are a lot of people in this country that are trying to move forward and expose the bullshit piece by piece.
