Bastion review (MyGaming)

Finished the game twice and got all achievements, but I kind of wish I waited for the PC version, it looks quite a bit better.

Oh well, I'm sure it will go on sale on Steam eventually.
 
i am considering either this, or From Dust, or Insanely Twisted Shadow planet. that price point 1,200 MSP is what is putting me off getting more than one of them :-(
 
haven't heard much about the game, that usually is a bad indicator for me, however sometimes gems do slip through the cracks, now what i have read about this game is that on its own its a good game however, pitted against the giants in the industry it just doesnt compare and will not warrant a following
 
I've played all of them, and I'd say Bastion is the best. From Dust is a close second, but it's quite short, and there's not much replay incentive, where Bastion has a New Game + mode.
 
Got Bastion on PC and finished it earlier this evening (clocked at around 6-and-a-half hours) and I think it's an absolute GEM of a game. Incredibly atmospheric, beautiful visuals, and pretty addictive gameplay. Also, the soundtrack is fantastic :love:

This is an excellent buy, without a doubt.
 
Right... you guys have made up my mind. I was still undecided after watching Zeropunctuations review of From Dust and Bastion, but after watching youtube videos of both, Bastion definitely looks more fun.
