Batman Arkham Asylum Completed *Warning Spoilers*

Hey guys.

Of those of you have finished Batman Arkham Asylum campaign, did you find the game rather short?

Also what was your favorite boss and why!

Let me kick this off.

Found the game fairly short, not overly difficult since there are alot of repeat manouvers and simplistic boss fights.

Favorite boss: Scarecrow. The mini games were pretty awesome turning it into a Platform game.

Unimpressed with Joker as you only really fight his goon's and it's piss easy.
Overall loved the game, because it's BATMAN C'mon! But was longing for something more with the boss fights, as opposed to rinse / repeat tactics.

The game isnt difficult at all on hard as well,but factoring in the challenge modes and the riddler challenges,it has far more longevity then other AAA titles.
 
Haha. The game has really awesome replay value. Not to mention the challenge maps, the cool new Bat Armor you unlock at the end.
The whole island is unlocked after you complete the game so you can go back and complete all the extra cool stuff. There are all the riddles to solve, secret maps to find, patient interview tapes, challenge mode unlocks, character bio unlocks, those cool turntable models to unlock (very cool). Pity I can't take the Batmobile for a spin tho.
 
Finished on meduim only need 3 teeth to get a 100% in campaign....

I hated fighting ivy....what a biatch
 
Ive caught up and passed where my save got corrupted last time. In the botanical gardens hunting Ivy. Still playing on hard and loving it.
 
I really enjoyed the whole game (finished it yesterday) :D.

Ivy was pretty hard, but for me Bane was the hardest, why you ask? This was the first proper game i bought on my new Xbox, so i still sucked with the controls. But after that I was sorted.

I loved all the cutscenes tho, they all done really well. Batman is really hardcore!!!

Im still fighting Joker. Ivy is pretty hard but what made Bane and this Joker fight so hard for me was the fact that u dont just fight said Boss u fight the minions also. Ill probably finish it tonight or tomorrow.
 
I defeated the Joker quite easily, the final cut-scene was awesome tho :D.

Hehe but Titan-powered Joker looks rather mean!!!
 
Lol, im playing of Hard so i think there are a few more thugs i need to fight. Cant wait to see that cut-scene.
 
Finished it yesterday. I didn't like the final boss.

The titan powered Joker seems unfeasible, the Joker character uses his intellect to fight the Dark Knight not brute force. I understand from a Game design perspective why they put him in there, i just feel it was a bit out of character for Joker to infect himself with Titan. A better final fight would have been joker rigging it so that if you dont defeat all the minions in a set time (round) Commissioner Gorden gets a shock, if his health runs out before the last of the 4, increasingly difficult waves, are defeated you loose. Then once the minions are down Joker finally runs out of thugs and Batman can take him down.

Thats just my opinion. Outstanding game overall. For those who have it on xbox if u complete it on hard u get the easy and medium completion achievement also.
Looking forward to a sequel of sorts. Now for the challenge maps.
