There are no enemies in the batcave.... why the fuck was he playing that level. God even the demo had enemies in and gave place for you to try out most of the key features, stealth, combat and the Silent Predator thing. Glad i didn't watch it.
 
Ok, say you had to choose between Batman: Arkham Asylum, Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 2, NFS Shift and DiRT2 which one would you get? I really want Batman, but I don't want something that I'll finish quickly and then never touch again. I wasn't a big fan of MUA1 so I'm not too sure of the second one. Racing games always (mostly) have good value for money as it takes a long time to finish them and there is a lot of replay value. I just want good value for money as I can only afford to buy one of these 4 games at the end of the month.
 
Well I got MUA1 from bargin bin and will do the same with 2. Not a huge racing fan so Batman would be my choice.
 
Yeah I got MUA1 in the bargain bin as well, but I took it back after a few days, really not what I expected. It wasn't bad, just not what I was in the mood for. Am not a big racing fan either, but I just want something fun that can help me to get rid of the frustrations that Demon's Souls induce due to it's brutal difficulty in new game +.

Well then Batman will serve u well. Play it on normal and it should take you 10 hours to get through the main story then there is still all the collectibles and challenge maps. Plus u PS3 guyz get the Joker DLC which is pretty awesome apparently.
 
Hmmm, I will see what i get come payday, but you make a good point. :p
I actually already downloaded the Joker DLC, so it would be stupid not to get the game.

Remember WET is also coming out at the end of the month. Ur lucky as the PS3 owners dont get Halo ODST. I have to make a choice between the 2. Halo will win no doubt.
 
I downloaded and played the WET demo and it was a lot of fun, but i don't think it's something that I will buy full price on release date, i will pick up a secondhand copy eventually. I would much rather get Batman than WET and 16 October is Uncharted 2 day!!! :D

I've got no cash for Batman :( as i'm saving up for Uncharted 2. Maybe I will pick it up secondhand thats if anyone sells it lol.
 
I made sure to keep cash aside for Uncharted 2, already paid half of my pre-order for the limited edition. :D Also, I stumbled upon a secondhand Little Big Planet for dirt cheap, so I have to get that as well. But I can afford one more R700 game and I think Batman may be it.

Im getting OSDT so ill also wait till i have stuff to trade before getting Wet. Then Im saving for Borderlands in Oct before the Hectic Dragon Age/ MWII/ ACII combo.
 
I still don't know why Batman get's released on the 18th September. And we only apparently getting it on the 2nd October :(
 
batman's gonna have to wait i just picked up a mint copy of gears 2 for R200 and forza 3 is next on my list
 
I found something to complain about.... My save file has been corrupted. Was busy fighting Harley last night and now.... Nothing.

It's karma getting you 'cause you got the game for free and the rest of us have to fork out our hard earned cash for it :p
 
Weird :/ I wonder if anyone else is experiencing this problem? I haven't had this issue with my PS3 yet and I hope I won't have to :(

First time this happened to me. Guess ill be starting from scratch... /Sigh.

Looking Forward to ODST and since i still have a few hundred in my account at BT so ill be paying half price for that. Not a bad month at all. WET is still tempting me though.
 
WET looks pretty good to me :) I see they starting to sell the Elite Halo package for R3999 on special atm. Not bad actually :) I would rather go for the Super Elite with 250gb HDD though.
