Battlefield 2 mods online

Hi Guys

I've heard that some people play with mods online and this enables them to have higher health etc, is there a way to stop people from doing this, or is this just a myth? I played the other night and either I was really unlucky or just had a crap night, but some of the players where able to get some incredible first shots in and didn't die even when I hailed bullets into them
 
If you tired of the cheating and you want a more serious take on BF2, why dont you give Project Reality a go, it has a good following in SA with guys on regularly.

Say "Hi" on the SGS /BF2 /PR forum and maybe someone can hook you up with the mod on disc.
