Battlefield 3 Beta

Maybe the crashes have to do with TK being on or something coz I've yet to have a crash but I do only play on the Wage server at odd times.
 
What is pissing me of is after each death I have to alt tab and back or else my mouse just doesn't want to look around. geez. I hope this is just the beta/windows 8 combo, going to retry this in win7 :)
 
Servers are still unstable, BUT
I did have my first playable experience tonight at least
I had full Weapon Models, Crosshairs, Identifiers AND I could see

Issue seems to be related to me running AA at x16 and GFX Set to HIGH
SOon as I dropped the High to Medium everything jsut sort of worked

I would like to validate something just to check, what is the size of BF3 folder > data> win 32> chunks0.sb

and BF3 > data > win32 > Levels > MP_007> MP_007.sb

933mb for the first and 549mb for the second.

Is any one else getting white flashes

I have a similar problem. When I went to bed last night the DL was on 84%. PC and DL was running all night, and now it's on 73% when I wake up. There is no way it could have restarted because there is no way I can DL more than 30% in a night. Says 2.9 of 3.9 GB downloaded, but my BF3 folder is already 4.56 GB big? Also states 00.00.00 time remaining. Origin is shit like Steam.

Rofl. The first for me is 843MB and the second is 905MB.

So I restarted Origin, paused the DL and started it again, this is what I have:

I'm downloading of the WAGE Ftp site given with DAP. Started last night at around 21:00. This morning 1.5Gb was done. I got to pause the download to check morning mails and it continued from there. 16 hours remaining, 4 running threads.
I will probably just start the Origin DL to see where the files need to go and copy my DLed files there.
 
I'm also getting flashes and finding ground I fall through when prone. Otherwise game is good and quite different from BC2.
 
Ya, also downloading the client from the wage ftp. My Origin download "worked" (avg 90KB/s on 1mbps line) but I haven't been able to join a game (keep getting disconnected from login server error) and I'm starting to think that something went funny in the download (Avira picked up the bf3.exe as a threat so it probably didn't download properly).

Hope that all of us experiencing issues manage to at least play the beta before the 10th.
