BATTLEFIELD 3: Comma Rose included in the PC version!

Before you read this, please do note that it HAS been confirmed by Karl Magnus Troedsson from DICE that the comma rose will indeed be included in the PC version. I heard it in a interview stream yesterday. He said that it's due to the massive response from the BF community that they decided to include it. YAY!

Anyway, here's a somewhat outdated article before it was confirmed:

It's just a wheel of commands as seen in the screenshots in the first link.

I don't know what options it will include in BF3 but it should be similar. I don't know yet if a commander will be included because in BF2 the comma rose was almost directly linked with the commander that could drop in ammo packs etc from a command screen. Either way, the comma rose will add so much more depth and tactical options to the game. It will enable you to set up and manage larger groups of soldiers. I mean, if you can relay information to more than just your squad, there will be much more teamplay involved.

DICE is seriously besig om op MW3 te PEEEEEE, selfs al het MW3 dedicated servers confirm... I FEEL WARM AND FUZZY INSIDE BECAUSE OF THAT!!

I'm guessing you never played BF2 or BF2142? Makes a huge difference tactically.

En Storm, yeah, I love how Dice is making statements and MW3 is simply trying to put out fires with stupid announcements like dedi-servers or exploding dogs. Hahahahahahahaha! Losers.
 
would the best place to pre-order BF3 be BT games as i heard that you'll additional "content/extras" if you order through them, or was that just sales talk?

yup they have the back to karkand expansion, exclusive to them, this was confirmed, so if you want the limited edition, preorder from BT
 
Im glads its going to be back, its very nice and easy to use, although im hoping and sure that there will be key bindings for those making it irrelevant.
 
I can't say I ever liked the coma rose too much, but I also understand that there are MUCH worse ways to implement such things.

At least they went with what's tried and tested.

hey man long time! You going to be getting BF3?
 
I wish this game could have a pilot or tank rating system so when you hover your cursor on your teamie you can see if he is a pro pilot or a kamakazee fool that will kill you when you in the cockpit. Like a noob that takes off and crashes. I think that would be a handy feature to have lol. That way I will know that traveling by foot or getting on the back of an ATV is a better option.

No, all limited editions come with the karkand thing. BT just has exclusivity to the extras, like that shotgun, the muzzle suppresor thingy.
 
My favourite part of the Comma Rose (Apart from spotting snipers) was to spam the "Enemy Boat spotted" command in desert maps on top of buildings etc. :p

This would pwn. I LOVED playing Commander though! Squad leaders using Comma Rose correctly made commanding a breeze with supply drops and arty parties.
 
Ah, that will make comunication much easier. Nobody seems to use voice. I can't because it kills my connection. so this will be a blessing. I think good communication will be make a big difference between a good BF3 team and a bad one. :)
