Battlefield 3 PC discussion thread MK II

Hard to say for sure as ppl are actually very very clever these days. But I personally say yes 100% he does to some extent, thou he should be the least of your problems as there are far far bigger and more obvious hackers in GS than this...

Would luv these ppl would for a change just help out or local gaming community and just die irl...

Am i missing something here, i dont see anything suspicious?
Why do you guys think he is a hacker.
I can confidently say no, he is not hacking.

I can confidently say no, he is not.

The reason i ask is because he was acting oddly when i played against him,i was playing sniper and had tugs up.I was ambushing other players without problems and switching between places often to ambush and he was the only one who knew exactly where i was each time (main reason i had to switch ambush spots)

I also decided to plant claymores at random spot around corners and he avoided every one of them by crouching and even managed to kill me when i approached from the front or the back (each time)

When i told him that he was a bit dodgy he said 'sorry' and then left.

This is the battle report:
http://battlelog.battlefield.com/bf3/battlereport/show/38389872/1/208134450/

He joined halfway thru the match.

I'm not sure if he is hacking so that's why i am asking if other people had any experience with him.

Unless you were using a knife it is quite easy to hear and see a sniper rifles glare. On top of that team deathmatch maps are small and even then the action will often be on one side of the map. There is only so many areas to hide. This one of the main things that seperate average players from good players, they have good game sense and can sum up situations very quickly and know where other players are and where they need to go.

If you spotted him crouching past every single claymore maybe shoot him while he is busy crouching :)

Still a definite No from me.

That's quite interesting, given, you say he only joined halfway into the match... But 33 for 2... What's he... camping in a bin with an unlimited supply of RPGrenades...

Edit: A score like that does typically raise a lot of suspicion...

I was trying to shoot him while he was going over my claymore,i could clearly hear where he was so maybe he could hear where i was?

I only once saw him get killed when i saw someone on the radar but decided not to take the corner because he was looking right at me,someone shot him in the ass after that.

I have to disagree there. Scores like that is pretty normal for good players to have now and again.

Also, we played against their team the other night and I must say their teamwork is brilliant. Good players as well. But it never felt dodgy.

Anyway, I've had scores like 60 - 1 and stuff like that before as well. Sometimes you just get really lucky or you're just playing really well AND being lucky at the same time :P. Not to mention getting revived by your teammates.

That Joker guy from ASF sometimes have scores like 90-2 or something because his team stands behind him and revives.

Anyway, to make a long story short. I don't think you can judge someone by their scores unless they consistently getting shit like 200 - 0 etc on public servers with pings of 400ms. In which case they are usually Russians rats coming to play on our servers :P. Anyways, I will "sluk my woorde" if he gets a violation, but I would have to say no, don't think he's a cheater.

You've made a valid point. Didn't think of it like that... But the fact still remains... Ex FiB stays ex FiB.

I believe all the questionable players from FiB have now faded into obscurity.
None of the players that joined Gs are dodgy to me, they are just damn good players.

Lol, well, with the shitty attitude and the FiB clantag gone, the okes seemed to have chilled out a bit :P. As I've said before, there are a lot of guys that were in FiB that are actually really nice guys. It a few of the bad apples with their kak attitudes that created the whole stigma behind the FiB name, I rate. So yeah dude, I don't hold anything against any of the guys that have been in FiB. Some of them were dodgy, yes, but most of the troublemakers were caught and banned.

Also, what Hackers sad. Yes, I called him Hackers. Not a typo.

:p

Seems there are jet Aimbots.

"Mommy, Mommy, Mommy, Mommy...! Please buy me aimbot, so that I can be better in games and impress all my friends (who'll think I'm a complete douche), as well as piss off those people who've been mastering their skills over years, and will have to deal with someone like me that can't play and wants to cheat to get somewhere in life..."

Hahahaha!! I just found a picture of myself playing battlefield, not sure who took it though!

Hi all!

I would really appreciate your help on this plus it will be a fun and interesting experience

I am doing my Honours in Psychology at Wits and chosen and therefore excited to do my research on gamers and cognition (higher order function of the brain).

I am looking for participants that are male gamers from Johannesburg between the ages of 18 and 25, that are fluent in English and have at least a Matric.

*edited note*: if you are 25-30 years old please still contact me

I need two types of gamers (who play on any format):

1. Those who have only played first or third person shooter games for at least the last 6 months
2. Those who have only played strategy games for at least the last 6 months

There are a few other inclusion criteria but if you are anyhow interested in being part of my research please private message me and we can go from there.

Thank you in advance

Paula
