New maps are fun

crossbow is awesome

scavenger mode sucks

Scavenger mode isn't THAT great but its a fresh breath of air from an otherwise boring multiplayer :)

The problem with it is the rich get richer and the poor get poorer so to say.... If you don't get a gun soon you're gonna have a bad time.

dunno, i was already quite behind when i originally started bf 3, like 3 months. but i didn't find it that hard to compete.

the normal guns are just as useful as the unlocks. now attachments that's where the game changers are

red dot sight, holo sight, foregrip, bi pod etc.

those things are what help alot.

Yeah starting out isn't that hard.... I meant in scavenger mode. Really hard to do good in it except if you can find a good weapon early on.

Just choose a good pistol and stick with it.

Remember that each attachment for a gun also has a downside.

Aftermath maps are some of my favourite of all the maps.

I like scavenger better than I like Gun Master.

I find that I need to camp when using the crossbow, same as when I snipe (might be my crappy 6 year old PC and GT630 card).

The new market map partly reminds me of MOH's map with the cave on one side and the town on the other.

gees, i wanted to play scavenger mode the other day, could not find a single server that had anyone in it, i jumped on the Mweb one hoping others would join, left after tem minutes. good way to learn the map though hahaha

I have mixed feelings about scavenger but I do have fun with it.

The new maps in general are excellent! They play really well in the other game modes too, rush stood out for me. They aren't nearly as linear as some of the original released rush maps. We definitely need more conquest and rush servers up.

Dice y u no make crossbow explosion bigger, all the HE bolts are really good for is blowing up helicopters and jeeps, would love if the impact killed someone, then the explosion would detonate 5 seconds later, good for baiting revives

I get kinda naar when I see gameplay footage of Bf3.
Too much of this game really gets to you.

At least it's good practice, when i started playing BF3 again after PS2 i did horrible.3 games later and i was up to speed and i even started playing PS2 like i play BF3.

Headshot kills on PS2

Help, this game is pushing me slowly towards a elevated position with a high powered rifle. Soon the little dots must pay...

I haven't been able to play since the patch and new add-on. It simply do not want to update. Eventually I asked a buddy to log into my Origin account and download everything from BF3, I collected the files from him. The folder was 28.3Gb. I followed the procedure of coping the files and repair, but Origin still insists to download 3Gb.

The problem is that the download will stop the minute you turn your back on the PC, claiming some error. At 60Kbps its going to take forever and I do not want to sit in front of the PC the whole time.

Any advice will be appreciated.

Move the entire contents of your Origin BF3 installation to an backup location. Tell Origin to reinstall BF3, pause the download and copy your friends data into the same Origin BF3 folder. Resume the download. Origin will verify all the files and download only the changed/needed files.

try only copying the update folder not the entire bf3 folder
