Battlefield 3 PC discussion thread MK II

I can still play on the CQ maps and unlock CQ guns.

I wish i could get my hands on the oke that stole from me,bloody bastard.

Yea Premium unlocked the DLC for you, I myslelf have to wait till I get CQ :/ hence why it's premium, you get stuff before the plebs :)

I think I'ma opt out of my clan.. Just don't like being part of a clan. Was fun at first, but the novelty faded eventually.

M249 + Bi-pod + 4x scope = snipers drop like flies, just aim up and hold the trigger and a nice stream of bullets falls onto their heads.

Anyone else without Premium got pissed off this weekend with the MVP/double XP stuff?

I often MVP'ed in my games this weekend only to never (or only when I doubled the MVP2 score) get an MVP ribbon. Slightly annoying.

Lol dude, then that ain't the clan for you. You need a bunch of like minded individuals to get the full clan experience. It might just be me but I find online gaming pointless without a clan/competitive games. Might just be me though.

Yup. Clan that's not link-minded = boring. Also, there are clans that are not that active. Basically full of people with no commitment. There's no activity, no events, no real reason to put in any effort. That's not a clan. It's a group of uncommited gamers. :P

Like minded people that form a clan tend to set goals for themselves, be friends but also generally set out to achieve things as well as to have a good time.

Get another clan, one that stimulates you and where you can meet people that you can befriend "in real life".

We were supposed to have clan matches but... Every time we're supposed to have had one, something came up. They were a cool and funny set of okes, but, there was just one problem I found with them...

They had their own server... Now! Don't get me wrong, that's awesome, but... The server required fees to be up-kept (if you Will), not to mention having to be online and playing at specific times... I.... ... just don't like that idea.

I got very well along with those guys... But, it just wasn't for me. Being in a clan sounds fun, but, I'd rather be in a clan with people I know, like close friends etc. Unfortunately, I only have 2 people that I know, personally, that own Bf3, but neither really play that often, and one's part of a clan anyway.

Edit...

What's more... I left the clan without saying a word Now, I don't know if that was the right thing to do but... It's done...

That's why you meet the guys in your clan, and become friends with them. Also, the "something came up" when trying to play clannies? I would also not like to be part of that clan, to be honest. :D

What Tooks said.

I have been in a few clans but never stay long. Mostly cause people tend to piss me of quite easily if they are dumb/smart -asses or not really keeping promises regarding matches etc. For me clan is a get together of a group of friends that like each other's company and have a ball of a time. Also if you live in the middle of nowhere like me, getting your friends to play the games you like, can be a huge problem. My friends not into MP so i join(ed) clans with "online friends" which is not the same.
