I see on Origin I can buy it for little over R500. Considering what I've spent on Xbox for BF3 its hardly anything, but then again I enjoy the vanilla maps more than any of the DLC maps. Are the local servers running DLC content? I mean, I wouldn't want to only buy the standard game then get kicked every so often coz I dont have the dlc.

There are servers for everyone: ones tailored for those who enjoy the vanilla maps only, ones that exclusively run the different DLC maps, and even ones that run a mixture of maps...

Go into game and check for online servers.
It's still being played internationally though.

Wow, so I bought Bf3 for PC. I friggen suck balls!!! First match, jumped into a boat on Canals, and didn't even know how to get out of it. Kept having to check the controls, so man, I've gotta get used to the controls better. Awesome to have 22ms ping though, its a far cry from the usual 200ms plus on xbox.

lol SiB has reached a new milestone, we got our first Team Hack Acquastion on a SGS server during a friendly and a epic rage quit after the 2nd Map, 1st round hahaha
the funny part is, the last couple of weeks we have been playing much better teams than us to try get ready for rAge and we have been getting our asses handed to us, then we play a non-rAge going team and we hit our groove & get our strats reasonable well excuted (even though the 1st map on Siene crossing was a bit disorganised by us, we still won by a big margin) and all of a sudden, right after the 1st round of DP, we get told we are hacking and that's why we didn't want to use UAC?!?! and then they just rage quit before the last round haha
firstly, we almost always use UAC, even for friendlies, it just so happens we didn't this one and any team that has played us will know that if we are hacking, then we must have bought the old versions that don't work right hahaha
this team (who i shall not name) should try play some of the other rAge teams and then come tell me we are hacking, i think they will be in for a big surprise
.......hmmmmm maybe the straw that broke the camels back was when i dive-bombed into the tunnel on DP with the chopper , flew to the other side and killed a guy (though i did get smawed afterwards
) hahaha

Hehe, you should let them play bvd or NSD for some fun...... It is the first method of defence when your ass get handed to you tho.

Jeez I played for the first time this weekend a bit(after a month or so break), a tad rusty if you can call it that, still got decent score but the kill count omw... kd was ok tho

Need Help PLEASE!!! I've been playing bf3 for few months now without any problems, yesterday i bought premium and downloaded Armored Kill, tried to connect to any ak server, start to load, then get a disconnected from server error, thought it might be the server then tried one of the old bf3 servers/maps and same thing happens, now I can't connect to any server, when I do get in ping is over 1000, ping was between 50-100 yesterday before armored kill install. #$%@!!! I've also skipped/paused CQ download, is it necessary to download qc first? Really don't want to re-download the game/patch seeing hat I only have few gigs bandwidth per month.
